We collect this information directly from you, from your device, or from charger operators that you authorise us to connect with.

  • Process and manage secure payments
  • Display live charger availability and charging status

  • Service Providers — payment processors, hosting and IT support
  • Charger Operators — for activating and managing public charging sessions
  • Regulatory Authorities — when required by law, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner

We will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Your information is stored on secure servers located in Australia (and, where necessary, overseas service providers who comply with the APPs). We use encryption, firewalls, and strict access controls to protect your information.

6. Overseas Disclosure

Some service providers may be located overseas (for example, cloud hosting). Where this occurs, Wattshare takes reasonable steps to ensure that these providers comply with Australian privacy obligations.
